Separating vocal reduction from accompaniment quality
Evaluate two things independently: how much the voice is reduced and how well the needed accompaniment remains. Combining both into one vague quality score can conceal a result that is unsuitable for your song.

What to check
- Choose a passage with both clear singing and important instrumental detail.
- Listen once for the remaining voice, then again for the accompaniment.
- Write separate observations before deciding which result to keep.
How to use the result
A candidate with less vocal is not automatically the better backing track. Test the trade-off while singing over the passage and choose according to the role the file must serve.
